Combing her hair
silence, blank stare
suddenly drops of tears
as the sun retreats
pair of nightingales
mate on their nest
happily singing songs
echoes of blissfulness
behind the windows
there is no solace
only the sound of hush
yielded, she has
wind kissing the chimes
passing of seasons
behind the windowpane
alone, she has remained
Ronald,

ReplyDeleteAwwwwww..the poem heartily expresses the feeling of the author. Even though, I am not poetic type of person I always love reading them. It has a melodramatic appeal to me.
