Once I did not care
Not minding what clothes to wear
Once I did not swear
Not even noticing what I bear
Reckless, my younger years
Doing crazy things without fears
Selfish, my younger years
Bullying kids with friends' cheers
Gone are all the days
When rainbow we race to chase
Gone are all the smiles
When we watched the sun's blazes
Now maturity came to be
From a different perspective things I see
Now everything's new to me
Even the place where I used to live
Not minding what clothes to wear
Once I did not swear
Not even noticing what I bear
Reckless, my younger years
Doing crazy things without fears
Selfish, my younger years
Bullying kids with friends' cheers
Gone are all the days
When rainbow we race to chase
Gone are all the smiles
When we watched the sun's blazes
Now maturity came to be
From a different perspective things I see
Now everything's new to me
Even the place where I used to live
**Back then I wished I am older
now I’m wishing I could go back**
Nice work - proves that I was right never to repeat my poetry attempt, there are good reasons why I stopped.
