As I bid farewell to the yellow sun
I let the beach’s sand slips through my hand
With me, memories of the summer’s fun
As I bid farewell to the yellow sun
Glimpse on the horizon, trees turn to brown
The leaves fall and rest on the solemn land
As I bid farewell to the yellow sun
I let the beach’s sand slips through my hand
Is there a longing hiding somewhere in these lines..!? Loved to the core!
ReplyDeleteYou can put it that way Tamarind, I would say it's about letting go of the past while taking the memories with you and looking forward to the future that is uncertain. It can be growing up or maturing...oops! I said more than enough, it might lose its mystery:D
