Metamorphosis (Class Reunion)

It’s been a long while,
Eighteen years has passed
Separated by miles
Bullies and foes, it’s in the past

Time has done a lot
Can’t even tell who your seatmate was
All grown ups
Geeks, athletes and the likes

Some became slim
Others gained more weight
Girls what have you done?
Were you my classmates?

The night’s young
Pregnant men holding beers
While singing songs
And others clap and cheer

Stories of the past
Of naughtiness and fun
Exaggerate if we must
Some even acted like clowns

Words aren’t enough
Descriptions are hard to find
An event much sought
Hope to be there, next time around
